In the sterile room, where silence holds its sway, The vital monitors, their rhythmic beeps betray. A symphony of life, of breath, of beating heart, A struggle to hold on, as threads of life depart.

When the monitor beeps at the center of your soul, And the weight of the unknown starts to take its toll, When the brightest minds falter, and answers slip away, In the shadows of despair, a radiant light will play.

When Medicine falls short to explain, And comfort flees the heart, embracing only pain, In the quiet of the night, when hope seems all but lost, A gentle whisper calls, from the arms of the Holy Cross.

On the other side is Jesus, the Healer and the Friend, In His embrace of love, our brokenness will mend. He waits with open arms, as our tears begin to flow, A shelter from the storm, a balm for every woe.

Waiting for you to plead, to cry, to let Him in, To surrender all your burdens, your worries and your sin. In His presence, find the strength to face another day, For in His hands, the darkness shall be washed away.

So let us call upon His name, when life’s tempests roar, When the monitor beeps, and our souls feel battered, sore. In His mercy, let us find solace, refuge and reprieve, For in His loving care, we trust, we hope, we believe.
